Hi,

Sorry about the lack of info.

The NIC card is a D-Link one. This is what I see in the hardware browser
DL10050 Sundance Ethernet.
Here is the error messages from the log file

----------
eth0:D-Link DFE-580TX 4 port Server Adapter at 0xe091f000,
6f:ef:6f:ef:6f:ef IRQ 9
eth0: No MII transceiver found, aborting ASIC status f000ef6f
* These 2 lines are repeated for IRQ 11, IRQ 10, IRQ 5

ifup: sundance device eth0 does not seem to be present, delaying
initialization
network: Bringing up interface eth0 failed.
----------

Rudolf, I thought sundance was the driver for the card. Am I mistaken ?

Any ideas guys as to how to make it work.

Thanks,
Rahul.
