Enabling email from hosts

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello,

On a similare note to the last email from myself, I need to configure basic
email sending on a number of hosts.

First, the facts...

We have an IMAP and SMTP Server called "mail.mydomain.com".

We have a number of hosts called "host1", "host2", and "host3" (all ending
".mydomain.com").

>From any of those hosts, we can "telnet mail 25" to send email, and all
emails are delivered successfully.

However, we cannot "mail -s test anything@xxxxxxxxxxxx".

How can we give these hosts a default SMTP server??

Thanks again,
Hobbs.
