/etc/cron.daily/makewhatis.cron:

zcat: stdout: Broken pipe

zcat: stdout: Broken pipe

I've recently been getting these from the nightly cron jobs. What would
be causing this?

yes, i got this message this morning from cron (on RHEL3). i ran some scheduled errata from RHN so it may have been caused by that?
any gurus out there got any ideas?

as an update to this for the archives, i got this mail again this morning from cron.weekly but i have not had it again from cron.daily. my guess is that it occurs the first time a 'makewhatis.con' script is run after certain software updates.
