RE: ssh prompt timeout

with the logingracetime after the timeout it's necessary to press enter to
return to the command

[root@machine ssh]# ssh -l dveiga machine
dveiga@machine's password:   (a long time ....)
Connection closed by UNKNOWN

If you edit the /etc/sshd/sshd_config file, there is an option called
LoginGraceTime.  You can set the time in which a user has to successfully
login.  After that time, the server will close the connection.
