Here is libol-config:

It finds the libol library correctly, otherwise it dies before it
reaches this error. It just doesn't properly detect libol-config.
Anyone have any ideas?

Did you add the location of the libol libraries to /etc/ld.so.conf and
then run ldconfig?
Well, I got it too compile after a cludge of hard-coded paths in the
configure script. I also side-stepped some sanity-checking code so I
hope that doesn't cause any problems with the resulting binaries.
