Dear all, I've just tried to install vsftpd on our Athlon 64 Workstations (RH EL WS U2), but I get the following error when I type 'make': /lib/libpam.so.0: could not read symbols: Invalid operation collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make: *** [vsftpd] Error 1 /lib/libpam.so.0 is a symbolic link to /lib/libpam.so.0.75 so should work. Any ideas why this isn't working? Is it a problem with the version of gcc we are using lin02-aqc> gcc --version gcc (GCC) 3.2.3 20030502 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.3-39) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
