This is an up2date RH 3AS with a Sony DRU-530A.
The only part of the command which works is "eject" ;-)

The error below is: dvdrecord: Input/output error. reserve track: scsi sendcmd: no error
Omitting -dao gets: dvdrecord: Drive does not support TAO recording.
