Do you know how usefull can be the SNMP?
I don't admin the WAN, but i get a lot of information when i need it
Is that option, or ask at your network administrator

Or... a Sniffer

how can SNMP software be valuable for monitoring the stability of hops of
routers I dont admin.  I dont understand this response?

I am attempting to Monitor the amount of Packet loss on my upstream's
network.
