check for bad blocks while formating a new fs

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I have a 200 GB with, I think, some bad blocks, and I don't want to trash
it now
I saw that I can create a new fs on it with "mkfs -t xxx -c /dev/xxx", the
"-c" option meaning "deal with bad blocks"
Unfortunately this option is NOT available with XFS, which I would like to
use.
So the question is : how do I create/format an XFS filesystem WITH bad
blocks checking ?

TIA
