Just minutes after I
sent my question to
the list I found the
solution. There was
a program named
'dvdrecord' which
appears to be a
close relative to
cdrecord. It is just
so... typical. :-)

After the DVD was
written and Fedora
installed the next
problem occured. THE
DVD was no longer
recognized as a
SCSI-device. But I
managed to find a
solution:
hdd=ide-scsi had to
be replaced by
hdd=ide-cd, se link
below.
