Network Trouble

  Hi All !

I have succesfully installed RHEL 3 over NFS on a couple a server.
I have created my own bootdisk with syslinux and it contain the minimal
information to boot on the network. The driver present on the bootdisk are
tg3 for HP DL-380 G3 Server and PCNet32 for vmware installation.
Both installation works well but on the vmware installation after the
installation is done I try to mount an nfs folder and it gives me the following
 error:
portmap: server not responding, timed out.
   lockd_up: makesock failed, error=-5
At the 3rd attempt it works and postinstallation is done.
Then at boot time eth0 is configured in dhcp mode but it fails saying me the
cable is unplugged.
But if I make 'dhclient' the network is up and everything works.

Does somebody know where the problem could come from ??

  Thanks in advance.
