Subject: Books on tcp/ip stack

Hello there,

I am looking for books on tcp/ip stack implementation in linux.
What I want to know is , for eg., all the processing involved when a datum is
received and send.

I came across these two titles. Which one would you recommend? Anyone with
experience?

1)The Linux TCP/IP Stack: Networking for Embedded Systems (Networking Series)
Thomas Herbert

2)TCP/IP and Linux Protocol Implementation: Systems Code for the Linux Internet
Jon Crowcroft, Iain Phillips
