In rely to Alejandro, In practice I have seen and used the second option (Internet->Router->Firewall->LAN) with Proxy servers in the DMZ. This application has worked for me in home networks up 1000 users of course the home network uses very inexpensive equipment. Patrick -----Original Message----- From: Rodolfo J. For the few times when I've changed my mind and switched a network from Linux to LBB or from LBB to Linux, it's been a replacement not an addition. I found the most benefit by selling the LBB being removed, or recycling the Linux box to another purpose. You *can* use them both and there's nothing wrong with that. The idea just doesn't appeal to me so I haven't done it. Cheers, -- Rodolfo J.
