I wonder if anyone can help me. I would like to send root mail to an outside mail server. As well at times i would like to have log files sent to an outside mail server Isp. I want it simple or maybe a link that can explain in simple terms on how to configure linux to do this. I am running redhat 9. I had a look at the sendmail.cf ( also researched on the internet) and it was enough to turn me off. Surely there is a simple way of redirecting mail to a external server.
