Sound problem in Redhat 7

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I have a "Intel Corp. 82801BA/BAM AC'97 Audio" Sound chip and am running RedHat 7.3. I am also running KDE 3.0.5a

I am attempting to get my sound working but I do not hear anything when I try playing something with xmms. Xmms will only play without error messages when "Arts" is selected. in KDE, Arts is set to start on kde startup. and sound IO is se to autodetect. All Defaults.

I tried running sndconfig but I hear nothing
Any ideas on what I might do to try to fix this problem?
