I'm not sure what model of inspiron you are interested in but the following
place has always helped with install notes:

Subject: Certified Hardware

Hi all,

I want to buy a laptop and if i see the Redhat certified hardware list I
don't see some of the common laptops listed there. Like DELL inspiron
series.
How does the certified hardware list works and can I buy any laptop and
install RH on it. I want ot install RedHat - WS so that I can use it for
remote system administration.
I think Redhat WS is good enough for laptop.

Any suggestions..

Thanks

Vivek
