What makes me interesed is why Linux does this way but Windows not. Let me simplify my test use ping program.
I'm going to *try* to understand all that, but I note that you've still not told us which PC runs Windows and which PC runs Linux. You've also not provided the routing table for the Linux machine with two interfaces. As root, issue the command "route -n". Copy the output to the mail message.
