Please can't anyone try helping me or pointing me to somewhere I maybe able
to find help? There's not even one answer can't someone please try and help
me? I'm really desperate here and not sure where to turn for help on this
one. I just wanted to add I can ping anyplace on the inside network and
anyplace in the outside network. I just can't load a web page or use email
on any of my internal boxes. A page will load maybe a small item or two then
time out waiting for the rest of the packets.....
Thank you,
Jo

I sure hope someone can help me with this. I am running RedHat Linux 2.4.18
(kernel). This box is configured as my router of a small home network that I
share my DSL through.

I use Iptables and this box has routed successfully for approximately 9
months to a year. Suddenly without any changes whatsoever the box stopped
routing to the inside addresses. From the linux box I can go anywhere but
from inside the network the packages move so slowly they are essentially not
running.

Since I changed no software or hardware I assumed I'd lost a nic card, a
cable or modem/router. So I changed all the hardware to known good. Still no
joy. I moved over and used ICS on my Windows box and was succefully able to
use the linux box as a network client so I know all the hardware is good.

So I'm stuck. I rebuilt a new updated kernel, 2.4.20-31.9 and still no joy.
Any suggestions or help?
Thank you,
Jo
