Hi James, Do the following thing to solve this problem: vi /etc/named.conf file and uncomment the following lines: controls { net 127.0.0.1 allow { localhost; } keys { rndckey; }; }; After this restart the named daemon. # service named restart or if it is desabled or stopped then # service named start.
