I'm betting that it's something to do with your /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf file. Most likely if you do a mv /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf.000 and then do a service httpd restart, it'll work.
