Help with CUPS printing to LPD

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

On our old Solaris box we printed to a centralized print server via this
method:

lp -d hostname:queuename

Doing this on RHEL 3.0 leads to a "client-error-not-found" message. I
tried:

lp -d queuename -h hostname

And this attempts to communicate to the host, but on port 631, not 515 like
I need it to. Any ideas?

Thanks!
