you can fix mbr from win2k recovery console for which you can boot from
win2k setup disks

or boot from win9x start up disks
then issue the command fdisk /mbr

well try this since your win2k installation isn't corrupted its only mbr to
be restored
run the first phase of win2k installation then after reboot cancel the
installation and then make sure there is an entry of win2k prev installation
in boot.ini and try booting and remove the win2k installation temp dir's.
