dear list members, i am trying to setup my redhat linux 8 machine as a PDC. while i am trying to join the domain from win2000 pro i get this error..
the following error occured while joining to NGROUP domain no mapping betwen account names and security id's was done
what is the problem

Did you add the machine on the linux machine? (smbpasswd -a -m MACHINE)
what does your smb.conf look like?
