Normally I do a "make oldconfig" when upgrading kernels.
Is there a ".config" from standard-RPM-Kernels anywhere? I cant find
any (of course I installed kernel-src/headers RPMS too).

If there aren't any, how can I find out, what drivers are compiled into
the kernel?

Not sure if this is the case on RH7.1, but on RH9 and RHEL 3 you can find the old config in /boot if you used a RH kernel rpm.
