Sorry, I see a thread from early march that suggests an issue with a serial port. Toralf, if you're still here, what exactly did you do? Did anyone figure out exactly what was causing the issue?

Thanks,

Norman

We've got a user who's having issues with CUPS. When he runs "/etc/init.d/cups start", the caps lock and scroll lock lights start to blink, and machine freezes. After a few minutes, he is forced to do a hard reboot.

Any ideas? We've tried reinstalling cups, and I can't find any errata or bugs.

Thanks,

Norman
