Hi folks. I've got my box set up so that any user can mount the cdrom drive and once mounted belongs to that user. I've tried to set up my USB memory stick and camera the same way, but I can't get it to work except from root. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing? Below are the relevent /etc/fstab entries: /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto, owner, kudzu,ro 0 0 /dev/sda /mnt/usb auto noauto, owner, kudzu 0 0 /dev/sda1 /mnt/camera auto noauto, owner, kudzu 0 0 [gary@gary gary]$ mount /mnt/cdrom/ [gary@gary gary]$ mount /mnt/camera/ mount: only root can mount /dev/sda1 on /mnt/camera [gary@gary gary]$ -- Gary Stainburn This email does not contain private or confidential material as it may be snooped on by interested government parties for unknown and undisclosed purposes - Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act, 2000 -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
