Hi all,Assumming you are using the default ext3 (or ext2) filesystems you can definitely resize these using either parted or resize2fs.
Any suggestions for resize filesystem utility on Redhat Enterprise
Linux. My / and /usr filesystems are 90% full and i want to increase the
sixe of the filesystem. I don't have any free space so I want to reduce
the size of some other filesystem to free some space and then increase
the size of / and /usr fs. Any help is appreciated !
The problem you may have is that parted can only extend partitions, or reduce them - the starting cylinder remains the same. you can't move partitions around!
