Being able to ping the host system only verifies that the system is available. Does the mail server that your trying to send to have an MX record setup to point to the mail server? The MX record indicates where the mail server is if I'm not mistaken.

Hi everyone....
I had a problem sending mail to a domain.. the error is "Deferred: mail.domain.com.co.: No route to host" but I can do ping to this machine... I had a DNS server sending the request to my ISP DNS's servers. It's that servers that fail or is my own ???
I can use other servers to resolve names ? which ?
I need an answer quick....
Regards
