Upgrading from PII to Athlon...glibc issue(s)?

I'm about to upgrade my server from an old 300MHz Pentium II to a 1.4GHz
Athlon (hardware swap, etc).

I know that there's an Athlon version of the current kernel, and I've already
obtained (though not yet installed) that. I also know that there's an i686
version of glibc, but I can't seem to locate the current version for athlon.

Is there such a beast, and if so, where is it?

Thanks.

PS. If anyone can think of anything else that would be critical for me to
update as specific to the processor type, I'd be grateful.
