Boot of the install CD and at prompt type

linux rescue

Once system is up, do

chroot /mnt/sysimage

Then, edit your /boot/grub/grub.conf file to fix errors you made
previously. After you did, reinstall grub:

grub-install /dev/hda (assuming it's in MBR on a first IDE drive).

Exit, exit and reboot - you should be fine.
