Maybe it´s not on your $PATH...
find / -iname xterm

I was moving some folders from the /usr/share area and now when I log on
to my server, I get:
unknown terminal "xterm"
I moved all the folders back, but that didn't help. Perhaps something
else caused my problem. Can someone tell me how to fix this?
