Hi , I am using RH9 on a pentim III machine that has two nic's and it connects to the internet through a proxy at 190.1.1.1. The problem is i can ping to the gateway but not to any other machine on the network. Moreover my Mozilla behaves weird directing me to the google site no matter what URL i enter. It also doesnt allow me to follow links that google presents coz it removes the name of the server and sends the remaining URL to google!!! here is the routing information Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface 190.1.1.0 * 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 eth0 169.254.0.0 * 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 eth1 190.1.0.0 * 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 eth1 127.0.0.0 * 255.0.0.0 U 0 0 0 lo default 190.1.1.1 0.0.0.0 UG 0 0 0 eth0 I am not sure if that is the right way Rh9 has configured the routing information.
