I think it's a DNS problem. In my setup the domain shows up in AUTHORITY section ie. mydomain.com 259200 IN NS ns.mydomain.com (remark ns..= my nameserver.) And in ADDITIONAL SECTION I get this ns.mydomain.com 259200 IN A IP x.x.x.x of your name server. You must define a zone for your domain in /etc/named.conf :-) ----- Original Message ----- From: Hernan Dario Arredondo <hernanrivera@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Sat, 27 Mar 2004 10:43:01 -0500 To: General Red Hat Linux discussion list <redhat-list@xxxxxxxxxx> Subject: No route to host > hi everyone, > > This time my problem is: > > When I try to send a mail to the domain orden.com.co my machine say > "Deferred: mail.orden.com.co.: No route to host", first I think "Is a > DNS problem" then I try : > > > # dig mx orden.com.co > > ; <<>> DiG 9.2.1 <<>> mx orden.com.co > ;; global options: printcmd > ;; Got answer: > ;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 45193 > ;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 1, AUTHORITY: 6, ADDITIONAL: 6 > > ;; QUESTION SECTION: > ;orden.com.co.
