Jody, Do an updatedb and then do a find for mysql -> # updatedb # find / -name mysql You could also look for the mysql rpm as well -> # rpm qa | grep mysql and if mysql is installed, it should be listed after the command... During the install, I told it to install all of the Postgresql and mysql packages. But, I looked in services, and mysqld is nowhere to be found. If I type in mysql at a command prompt, it says unrecognized command. I looked in the Add or Remove packages area in redhat, but it lists them as being installed. What should I do? - Jody Cleveland -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
