I'm using RHAS21 with kernel-2.4.9-e.3. I have kernel-2.4.9-3.25.src.rpm and I want to upgrade my kernel with that version. I rebuild the src.rpm and get: -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 5865918 Mar 17 14:42 /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/kernel-BOOT-2.4.9-e.25.i386.rpm -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1681910 Mar 17 14:42 /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/kernel-doc-2.4.9-e.25.i386.rpm -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1187424 Mar 17 14:42 /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/kernel-headers-2.4.9-e.25.i386.rpm -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 27382324 Mar 17 14:42 /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386/kernel-source-2.4.9-e.25.i386.rpm After I upgrade with command rpm -Uvh kernel* and reboot my server, I found error in mounting filesystem in read-write mode. And my bcm5700 module won't work anymore. How to upgrade RHAS21 kernel from the src.rpm package? Can I get kernel-2.4.9-e.25.i386.rpm after rebuild from src.rpm? --- This email is protected by Clam AntiVirus and SpamAssassin -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
