i have redhat 8 newly installed. somehow i configured the momdem to dial out, but iam unable to disconnect. every time to disconnect, i switch off the modem, thank god its an external one.
any help on this is welcome..!
It really depends on HOW you set up the connection, but I can drop a ppp connection to the internet simply by typing 'ifdown ppp0'.
Again, it all depends, but give it a shot.
