or if the mtools package is installed insert floppy disk (list files) mdir a: (copy files to local directory) mcopy a:*.* . (install) rpm -ivh <file> I am pretty sure mttols comes on the standard list of packages for redhat, but if not then you should find it on the redhat install CD saves on all that mount/umount and possible file system corruption of hangs stuff. -- Steve.
