Folks, i´m trying to change user passwords using apache. to do so i´m using chpasswd. when i login as root and issue # echo "user:pass"|chpasswd the password is correctly changed. but when i try as a non-root user (i.e. apache) i get chpasswd: can't lock password file any hint what i´m missing? is there any caveat for this? best regards Gustavo Schroeder Sys.
