One alternative is to use "current" on a Redhat 7.2 system
and then do a download from a Redhat mirror site for
all the channels you want.

On the server where you install current you need to be
able to point to  a Redhat mirror server which downloads all the
Redhat updates and planes them in a database, simulation a
Redhat up2date server.  Then each client machine can use up2date
but point to your local current server instead of Redhat's up2date
server.
