You would need the Perl Digest::SHA1 module. Later versions of Red Hat Linux have it in a perl-Digest-SHA1 package. rh73 doesn't.
To expand on this... download the Digest::SHA1 module from http://search.cpan.org. Untar it, run "perl Makefile.pl" in the directory, "make && sudo make install". If you have the CPAN module setup, it might be easier for you that way, since it handles dependencies. Otherwise, you'll need to build it from source as I described.
