PHP on RH 7.0

Nubie alert :-)
I am trying to install PHP on my RH 7.0 box . I see a RPMS file that looks like PHP but I am wondering if I should install a newer version from www.php.net.
I have been reading the installation info on www.php.net but still don't "get it"

This is what I found on my RH server ...
/home/RPMS/asp2php-0.75.5-1.i386.rpm
/home/RPMS/asp2php-gtk-0.75.5-1.i386.rpm
/home/RPMS/mod_php-4.0.1pl2-9.i386.rpm
/home/RPMS/php-4.0.1pl2-9.i386.rpm
/home/RPMS/php-imap-4.0.1pl2-9.i386.rpm
/home/RPMS/php-ldap-4.0.1pl2-9.i386.rpm
/home/RPMS/php-manual-4.0.1pl2-9.i386.rpm
/home/RPMS/php-mysql-4.0.1pl2-9.i386.rpm
/home/RPMS/php-pgsql-4.0.1pl2-9.i386.rpm

Does this also install MySQL at the same time?

Thanks

PS While I am an old DOS/Windows nerd I am really enjoying Linux and learn SO much from this list! Thanks!
