Hi all,
I'm running bind ver 9.1.3 on my linux 7.2, and its
getting crashed every now and then with error
named REQUIRE(*rdataset == ((void *)0))
failed
named exiting due to assertion failure
I've come to know, it's the vulnerability of the
particular ver of bind, provided with particular ver of linux. But, my system
administrator is out of station, and i cannot update it myself (no rights). I
was wondering, if it's possible to trace the ip causing this
crash..
Any help (urgent and quick) will be highly
appreciated
