I am new to Linux. Installed Red Hat Linux 9 version 2.4.20-6. and installed fine. Then tried to recompile the kernel, followed the custom compile chapter in document.
No changes made in 'make xconfig' operation.
I got the following error:
in function 'mnt_init' undefined reference to 'init_rootfs'
then exited.
gcc is 3.2.2-5.
