I am going to be calling the mail servers admin on Monday. It is only a couple of domains that are causing the problem. The IP address is definitely not dynamic, we are on a T1 line and I don't think you can even have dynamic IP's when using that. I'll email the list on Monday with my results. Thanks for your suggestions. -----Original Message----- From: redhat-list-admin@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:redhat-list-admin@xxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Corey Head Sent: Saturday, January 03, 2004 1:01 PM To: redhat-list@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Sendmail configuration problem? Some servers refusing toreceive mail from me... I had this same problem for a while when I first set up my server. My ISP's IP assignment--even though I had a static IP--listed my IP as a Dynamic IP, so many domains didn't accept e-mail from my server, notably Earthlink.net. However, I was able to send e-mail to those domain-admins to let them know I was a legitimate domain and not trying to spam their users. So it is probably not your setup, but the remote servers and how they accept mail. Does this happen with a lot of domains or just one or two? Hope this helps!
