I am connecting a Cisco router to my RH EL3 machine for configuration. I will be using the serial port ( Like using Hyperterm in Windows)
What configs do I need to do before I can access this?
None. Just run "minicom -s -c on". Com1 is ttyS0, and com2 ttyS1. Make sure you have a cable with right pinout as cicso can need a custom cable.
