I am trying to get some practice compiling apache by using the httpd-2.0.40.tar.gz that comes with the 9.0 SRPMs (so that I won't have to worry about compatibility issues). My configure is straightforward: # ./configure --enable-layout=RedHat --enable-mods-shared=all --enable-ssl --w ith-ssl=/usr But when I compile it terminates at the ssl options. I am using a default openssl package with a RH9.0 install (0.97a) so my assumption is that the apache and openssl software are compatible. Does anyone see anything obvious here?
