up2date: can't run: Bad time error

I tried running up2date, but I get an error about my system time being wrong. However, my time is set correctly. An clues?

I checked the list archives for related posts and found posts that said there were problems w/ the RH site. That was back in August. Could this be the same thing again?

Thanks.

# up2date
There was an SSL error: [('SSL routines', 'SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE', 'certificate verify failed')]
A common cause of this error is the system time being incorrect. Verify that the time on this system is correct.
