Maybe you should explain your requirements a little better. Your first
post stated you wanted sendmail to accept connections from outside, but
now your stating that you only want to accept connections from
localhost. Which one is it? 

BTW: Are you possibly wanting to restrict connections to sendmail from a
specific host like your webserver?
