Font Problem

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,
I copied many fonts from my windows, possibly
overwriting few, to
/usr/share/fonts/monotype/TrueType.

I did ttkmkdir and mkfontdir and it went fine.
i also made sure that the above path is in my
/etc/X11/fs/config . Also my FontPath in XF86Config
file is set to unix:7100.

first of all xlsfonts doest list the fonts in above
directory. 2ndly GNOME2 still uses and displays
correctly the fonts that were previously listed by
xlsfonts !!!

Should i delete the entire directory and start all
over again ?

TIA
Abhi
