Could any one please tell me How do i configure SMTP Authentication for my working sendmail server Im very confused how do i go about it.
I Have installed RedHat 8.0 ,Sendmail- 8.12.5-7 and cyrus-sasl-2.1.7-2
[root@localhost root]# rpm -q sendmail
sendmail-8.12.5-7
[root@localhost root]# rpm -q cyrus-sasl
cyrus-sasl-2.1.7-2
[root@localhost root]# telnet localhost 25

It is showing AUTH GSSAPI but when i configure in Outlook for SPA it is not working
in /usr/lib/sasl/Sendmail.cof
pwcheck_method:PAM
please tell me how do i configure SMTP auth
